“Thank you so much! The parcel arrived the day after we got back from a week in hospital so was much appreciated. Ellie was very pleased her duck has a wiggly line like she does and has shown it to anyone who will look (along with her own wiggly for comparison). She’s only had her line for a fortnight so it’s really helped her to have something similar she can play with. Theo is quite happy to have his duck too and it has stopped him from trying to steal Ellie’s (most of the time).” Victoria, mum
Ellie age 4, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in May 2023 and soon after diagnosis she received a Chemo Duck via the hospital play team. Ellie’s younger brother Theo was also sent a Huggable Hope duck from The Give A Duck Foundation along with a special outfit for each duck, thanks to the volunteer crafters at Blue Light Babies!
