Seeing our friends Karen and Andrew go through a situation that could have happened to any of us was what inspired me to get involved with Give A Duck.
I’m a practical person and love getting things done, whether it’s taking photos, dressing up in the duck suit, or going to different events with other trustees, so I know my skills and enthusiasm can be put to good use.
Being able to work as a team to bring a little hope and happiness to children and their families through Chemo Duck is important to me. I relish the chance to make a difference to people’s lives in a simple but effective way.
I’m married to Elizabeth, another trustee, we have two sons, and I’m a production manager at a printer’s in Leeds.
