DHL Wakefield employees raised £420.90 by hosting a Duck Day in April! This amount will fund 16 Chemo Ducks – wow!!
The day involved raffles, cake bakes, plant and flower sales.
Stuart Ruddick, General Manager at DHL Supply Chain Wakefield said: “Our company DHL have whats called a match it scheme that we are able to apply to where they basically match any money raised so our £420 could double to £840 which would be great!”
DHL Wakefield smashed the £100 target set for a Duck Day fundraiser and we are so very proud and grateful for their support. Families in here in Yorkshire and throughout the UK will benefit from their Duck Day and we hope that everyone involved at DHL Wakefield will take a moment to feel proud of this wonderful achievement. With their support, Give A Duck can continue to support families facing childhood cancer.
