Ladies! Bring your friends, family, work colleagues for a special event this Spring in Leeds city centre. The event starts with a welcome drink upon arrival (fizz or soft drink), with exclusive shopping time to browse a carefully selected range of stalls from local independent businesses including jewellery, clothing, candles/diffusers and more! Lunch will the be served, followed by fantastic live entertainment – a talk on ‘Glitz & Glamour’ with Meredith Towne.  And finally, there will be a raffle and some other fundraising activities for a chance to win some fabulous prizes!

Time: 11am – 3pm | Lunch will be served at 12.30pm (two course, vegetarian/vegan option available)

Lunch options:

Main
Tagliatelle Pasta & Crispy Chicken  – Thin flat strips of pasta tossed in a cheese sauce, roasted piquillo peppers, tender broccoli, grated mature cheese and crispy chicken
or
Kerala Salmon – Kerala spice marinated Atlantic salmon with sauteed potatoes, baby spinach and chickpeas in a spiced onion tomato masala

Dessert
Sticky Toffee – A sticky sponge with dates topped with toffee flavoured sauce, nuts and vanilla ice cream
or
Cheesecake – with cream and toffee sauce (flavour changes frequently)

You’ll be wowed by the glitz of Edwardian ladies, dazzled by the exoticism of Flapper fashions and learn how to exude Hollywood glamour in the silky gowns of the Thirties in this fabulously delightful talk by Meridith Towne: Costume Historian and Dressmaker.
