The Give A Duck Foundation desperately need to raise funds to continue to provide Chemo Ducks to children with cancer in the UK and Huggable Hope ducks for their siblings. Like many charities, The Give A Duck Foundation has experienced a devastating loss of income due to Covid-19. Sadly, cancer doesn’t stop during Covid-19 and around 30 children each week are diagnosed with cancer in the UK.
During Covid 19, a further eight UK hospitals have requested stock of ducks and received our support. We now supply stock of Chemo Duck and Huggable Hope sibling ducks to over 30 UK hospitals – a combination of Principal Treatment Centres, shared care hospitals, local hospitals and also community outreach play specialists.
Since having received the Chemo Duck it has helped him get over his anxieties around the port.
